PSDA Named NAUI Technical
Diving Training Center

Professional Scuba Diving Academy (PSDA), a division of 40 Fathom Grotto’s parent company, Commercial Diving Academy of Jacksonville, has been named an official NAUI Technical Diving Training Center.

The NAUI Tec program was established in 1997. Its goal: To create higher standards for technical diver training worldwide by codifying tech diver training practices. NAUI Tec Instructors provide divers with the skills, knowledge and discipline needed to plan and make technical dives while minimizing risk. The NAUI Tec Advisory Board includes several well-known individuals, such as Dr. Bruce Weinke, creator of the Reduced Gradient Bubble Model (RGBM).

PSDA uses 40 Fathom Grotto as its primary training site for recreational, technical and leadership-level training programs.
